This case is included as a reference project rather than a YCE-delivered engagement. It documents the scale, technology stack, and execution context within which members of the YCE engineering team developed direct experience — specifically across CSP tower heliostat design, hybrid CSP+PV integration, and large-scale utility EPC commissioning. The engineering perspective YCE brings to today's projects draws on this background.

The challenge

A 950MW total capacity hybrid plant on a single site — combining tower-based concentrated solar power with utility-scale photovoltaic generation. The project was delivered as a full EPC turnkey for DEWA, Dubai's primary public utility, as part of the wider Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park development.
